This guide is your key to unlocking every feature and benefit our app has to offer.

Getting Started

Order building materials when you need them, no matter where you are. Our user-friendly interface lets you browse our comprehensive catalog and place orders with just a few taps. Plus, real-time inventory checks ensure you're never left guessing whether material is in stock.

How-to:

  1. Open the app and sign into your MyFBM account.
  2. Select the job you’re ordering for and then select the specific FBM branch you would like to place your order with.
  3. Browse top categories or use our smart search to find the material or item you’re looking for.
  4. Select the quantity and review any details regarding the item like SDS sheets or other specifics.
  5. Add it to your cart and click Checkout. 

Track Your Deliveries & Pick-Ups

Cut down on time wasted and stay up-to-date on deliveries and will-call pickups with your personalized feed of alerts. With MyFBM you will be notified when your pre-pulled items are ready for pickup. For delivery, you have the peace of mind that items are brought to your pre-selected location based on your line notes.

How-to:

  1. Tap on the Home tab in the bottom left of the app.
  2. From here you can view your most recent latest alerts including deliveries or pick-ups happening in real-time. 
  3. Want to see more than the most recent? Tap see all in order to view a conclusive list of all your latest deliveries or pick-ups that have happened over the past week.  

Calendar At a Glance

Organize, oversee, and optimize your jobs directly from your phone with the Calendar Insight feature. Keep all your project information in one spot for easy access and seamless management, so you’re never left guessing regarding an update. 

How-to:

  1. Tap on the Home tab in the bottom left of the app.
  2. From here you can view the calendar to see jobs for your current week. 
  3. To view next week’s jobs, swipe left on the calendar. 

Search Smarter

Searching for products is easy! You can search using product names, manufacture SKUs, or basic search terms. Need to figure out what a product is? You can use the barcode scanner to scan an item using your phone’s camera to find it on MyFBM. 

How-to:

  1. On the Home tab, tap the search bar at the top of the app.
  2. You can conveniently search by voice or barcode.
    1. Microphone: Voice Search
    2. Barcode: Barcode Search
  3. Scroll through and select your item from the list. 

Managing Your Jobs From Anywhere 

View all of the details related to any of your jobs from the palm of your hand. Review orders per job and job spend, location, materials outstanding and received, and more. The My Jobs section provides complete transparency into all of your business with FBM. 

How-to:

  1. From the home page, tap the My symbol at the bottom center of the app.
  2. Click on the button that says Jobs.
  3. Scroll through and select the job you want to view. You can also use the sort or filter features to narrow down the list of jobs to find one easier. 

Keep Tabs on Your Purchases 

Get even more organized and efficient with insight into every order you or your company places. Utilizing the My Orders feature of the app allows you to view the payment status, order status, and overall invoice details of every order placed with FBM.  

How-to:

  1. From the home page, tap the My symbol at the bottom center of the app.
  2. Click on the button that says Orders.
  3. Scroll through to view all of your current and past orders. Click an order to view the payment status, order status, billing details, and order summary. 

Reordering Made Easy 

Save time and reduce errors by creating lists of your most commonly purchased materials. Once you have a list created of your materials, you can quickly reorder with a few clicks. Collaborate with your team members by sharing your created lists, that way everybody is on the same page. 

How-to:

  1. There’s a few different ways to create a list, but the easiest way starts by navigating to the My symbol at the bottom center of the app.
  2. Click on the Lists button and you will see a few lists already created for you based off of some of your frequent & recent purchases.
  3. Tap Create List, choose a name, and write a description for the list.
  4. Select the list you created and tap start adding items to begin building your list.
  5. After you’re done building it, you’re able to easily use the list to reorder with a few clicks! 

Adding Team Members 

Leverage the power behind MyFBM by getting the entire team using the mobile app. Now it's easy for jobsite professionals, drivers, foremen, and estimators to use the tool on-the-go. Account administrators can determine the permissions for the team based on their function and whether they need to see pricing, place orders, or manage users.  

How-to:

  1. Navigate to the My symbol at the bottom center of the app.
  2. Go to the Administrator Settings section and select Users.
  3. Click Add New to add team members. 

Selecting a Job & Branch 

Viewing real-time job pricing and local inventory of building materials has never been more convenient. Simply select the job you are ordering for and use the convenient map feature to find the nearest branch to order from. That means pricing and inventory checks in seconds!  

How-to:

  1. Navigate to the Job/Branch Selector pin symbol which is second from the left on the app menu.
  2. Select New Job to enter your job or select from the list of jobs on your account.
  3. Then select the FBM branch that is nearest your location to see pricing and inventory.
  4. Press Continue

Navigating the Categories Tab 

Ready to browse building materials that you need for your next job? By selecting the Categories tab, you will see a list of helpful product categories like Drywall Board, Acoustical Ceilings, Steel Framing, Tools & Accessories, and more. Find everything you need in one place! 

How-to:

  1. Navigate to the Products box symbol on the app menu.
  2. Select the category to see a dropdown of the different product types.
